As far as i know, no. You cannot view it in the notes application.
What you can do is save it to a folder through PC Suite and then open it on your phone from File Manager. As regards the date and time, you can see that in view details under options.

I suggest you take a look at an application called Best Jotter. I haven't tried it but it might be useful for what you need. There is a free trial period so you can test it before you decide to buy it.

What folder on the phone are the notes kept in?
In other words, I've created a file (I suppose called file.txt) and I want to use PC Suite to put in on the phone. When on the phone I go Menu -->> Office -->> Notes, what folder must I put the file in so the phone can find it?
I've created several notes using the phone, but danged if I can find the file that was created by the phone when I'm using the Suites file manager. I've worn the letters off the search and help buttons looking for it. Just about wore out my owner's manual, too.
BTW, I've had this phone for about 48 hrs and I'm *impressed!!* I've been able to use a wep router and I've d/l my contacts from a funabol server! I think all the other connections are right, too. Can't be sure until I get back to where there is cellular coverage. I think this phone might be the best thing since sliced bread.

I know the thread is a little old, but I figured out a way to get this to work.
I copied the .txt file to the phone via explorer, then while viewing the file through the file manager on the phone I selected options and send as text message. That then allowed me to copy it to the clipboard by holding the pencil button and selecting the text with the directional buttons. Then holding the pencil button and the left soft button copied it to the clipboard. Then open up a new note and past with the pencil button and the right soft button.
