samsung bd-up5000
I have recently acquired both of these and after reading lots of comments about this combo I was expecting some amazing quality jag free lines etc. The graphics are obviously very good but playing PGR3 thats meant to be the best quality I've encountered lots of jaggies all over the place. Is this normal or should it be totally smooth? I guess i was just expecting it to be better. Its only in-game that this is noticable, the dashboard is almost perfectly smooth. . ------------ It's to do with the actual game itself. There is nothing wrong with your TV set. I have also experienced the same problem as yourself with the same tv, which i thought at first was the problem. Apparently the game only uses 2x anti-alaising where as most games use 4x. It's a real disapointment as this was the game i was looking forward to the most. If you think it's bad during a race try the garage walk mode , it's bloomin awful. But if you go into photo mode and take a picture the jaggies dissapear.
It's no consolation but hope this helps. ------------ Cheers for that.. good to know its not a problem. I guess thats what the games will now start improving on, seeing as i heard that they're only using one out of the three cores at the moment.
