Ok with a look into the future. Would you rather have a Nokia: Touchscreen Only Touchscreen Qwerty Keypad Only Keypad Qwerty No Touchscreen

If I've got good keys, I don't feel the need for a touchscreen. My screen just gets all gunked up with finger prints and what not.

The next N series device MUST have a touch screen and a decent QWERTY keyboard IMO. The N95 sorely misses a QWERTY. A device claiming to be "The thing computers have become" needs one. As for touch screens I have to admit the i-Phone's is impressive. A friends has one, and its the only thing along with build quality I like about it. A touch screen could do away with all manual buttons except a decent QWERTY, which could be hidden away in a slider. A new N series device, while were at it, should also make full use of the accelerometer, further reducing the need to 'get feely' with the screen.

I had a Qtek9090 for a while. Qtek 9090 pictures, official photos It had a slick slide-away qwerty. But I still prefer standard keypad. I've been texting since I was like 16? Yeah, you can type faster on a full keaboard, but you're hardly going to touchtype on a mini qwerty, it's going to be thumbs or index finger. Having used both, I would argue the benefit of a qwerty over a predictive regular keypad. Once you've loaded up all the missing words (swear words mainly) I can type pretty quick. Anyway, if we're on the subject of concept, we need to evolve away from buttons. We should be talking to our devices, not prodding them!

thank you for replying guys =) Now, I've never had a touchscreen device, my question now is do you have to see the device 99.99% of the time so you can press any kind of buttons? I think that having a qwerty with dedicated media keys would be perfect, that way you won't have to see the device when skipping or playing a song, the accelerometer also would be nice to have and again having a fully touchscreen accelerometer device you won't know if the screen is rotated unless you see the screen.
