motorola cell phone/I modded a v300 to v600 (75R and E9). I use a T-mobile SIM.... but the modded phone now shows up connecting to cingular . . any clues ------------ It will be telling the truth - they have tower sharing agreements and will be on a Cingular tower. If you read the plmn_table from the sim rather than phone it will read t mobile SEEM 0032_0001 offset 4B -bit 6: Alpha Tag Display (1 from SIM, 0 from phone) ------------ Amazing... it works.... thanks However, I still the Roaming triangle.. Does this mean I am roaming ------------ You are using a cingular tower so technically yes you are roaming but like i said they have agreements so you won't be charged. you can disable the icon if you like SEEM 0032_0001 offset 34 - bit 3: Display Roam Triangle Icon (1 on, 0 off) ------------ Thanks....
