A question of Fring
Author: web   Add date: 04/12/2008   Publishing date: 04/12/2008   Hits: 0
Hi all

From Fring, can one make a call (subject to WiFi connectiviti) to anywhere in the world... free of charge?

If yes, then why does the call show up in my 'Calls' list as an outgoing call, I mean, why does it not show up as a Fring call?

Thans in advance.

no you cant call anywhere for free..

common misconception on VoIP...

you could call free for Fring user to Fring user... or using say skype on fring to skype on fring...

but basically, if you are calling someone who isnt on a VoIP service you dont pay for your part on VoIP but you do have to pay to connect to the person you are calling over the tradional comms lines.

Thank you for the info.
But I am still a little confused... anyhow, I'll ask the posse to get onto Fring.
Prev:Ovi Sync there, but not live... Next:N95 - some apps won't make noise
