Hi guys just got my mobile yesturday and wow what a great phone it is, my question is. I would like to transfer some movies from my pc to the phone when ever i do that it stops at around 98% (on the transfer bar between pc to phone memory) .
I then found out it has to be MP4 file, so i downloaded and install a MP4 converter, did a movie convert and then tried to send the file over again but no luck. I even tried to send it over via that lifeblog but when i tried to play the movie on the phone it came up with error.
I went onto the nokia site and tried to download that nokia video manager but the installer didnt work due to it saying wasnt any phone found or something.. how is that? when it's installed via that suite program and ive already transfered stuff over, ie. pics
Anyone can help me in sending over movies from my pc to phone. MANY THANKS :D

what firmware do you have? press *#0000#

Hey, it says V15.0.015

I use DivX Convertor and Player.
The convertor only comes as a 15 day trial, but it just works. I don't want to have to fiddle around with mp4 that and avi this, I just want it to convert video files so I can play them on the N95, and thats exactly what it does.
If you tinker with the settings, it can do a whole film down to around 100mb ish, and it's perfectly watchable on the N95 screen.

i suggest what steve_r said... install divx (free) and convert your files to avi.

Hi, the way I do it is to plug your phone in using the lead, open start on your bottom bar on your pc then click run, select removable disk ( on my pc its shows as F drive) and it will bring up all the files on your phone, select all files and not programmes in the bottom selection bar, double click on your videos folder ( not the "my videos" just "videos") and it should show you the contents of your video folder on your phone, then just drag and drop your films or video clips. job done. works for me and is a lot quicker than waiting for the nokia software to open up.
