nokia n95 8g prodamN95/nokia/
Hi, this is my first post although I have been reading this site for a while. So, this is my problem. I had already used Fontrouter without problems. I installed a new font, installed Fontrouter and restarted the phone. It only shows a white screen and then reboots again and again. It never even shows the nokia logo. The only way to stop the rebooting is by removing the battery. The new things here are this new font AND the just released firmware. I tried booting while holding the pencil button. Also tried the green-*-3 boot. Nothing works. Of course, this being an N95 8GB, I cannot remove the memory card. Any ideas? PLEASE!!! By the way, I live in Switzerland but I'm staying in California, close to Los Angeles until next week. I am DEAD without my phone. Really need your advice. Thanks, Arubins

Did you install font router in phone or mass storage?
------------

I installed it in the phone memory

FontRouter MUST be installed to the memory card or this can happen Unfortunately, you will need to reformat the phone as it is loaded every time the phone tries to boot up Edit: Sorry, I didn't read your post properly - I'm not sure as to why you cannot reformat the phone..

OH, MY!!! I had used FontRouter before and I was CONVINCED that I had to install it to the font memory. I just re-read your "guide to installing fonts" and realized you specifically say that it MUST go to the memory card. I have tried several times to format (I have a fresh backup) but it just keeps rebooting. Am I missing something here? I press (and keep pressing) the green/call button, the number 3 and the * and while holding those three buttons, I press the power button until the phone turns on. What happens next is exactly what happens if I don't press any key. A white screen flashes for a second, then it goes black and then it keeps doing this until I remove the battery.

Before on my N95-1 I had Font Router on memory card, after firmware update to v20 it will only work if I have it install on phone memory. I had it install on memory card and got the exact same problem described above. Lucky for me I can take the MMC card out. I think you might have bricked your phone.

1. Turn off the phone 2. Press and hold the power button until screen lights up 3. Whilst still holding the power button, press and hold *, 3 and Call simultaneously 4. Hold all four buttons until you are addressed with the language choice option

i uninstalled fontrouter because i had to use my mass memory and when i installed it back (in phone memory) it didn't work anymore. after reading this thread i uninstalled fontrouter right away...got scared there.

I've been doing that for the last hour or so. It just keeps flashing a white screen for about a second or two, then it goes black, and the it goes white screen again. It does look bricked...

I think it's a trip to the nearest Nokia Service Center then, mate :(
