Hi all, Ever since i updated to the latest phone version of 20.0.0.15, after ever phone reboot , i was required to key in the date and time. I've reinstalled twice with no avail. I've been on the latest firmware for about 3 weeks. Perhaps this is intended in the latest firmware. Can anyone assist to confirm ? Thanks p/s : Merry X mas .... cheers
.

This don't happen to me but i have heard of this before. So you have re-installed twice and still have the same problem?
------------

Did you remove the battery to turn off the phone or use the phones power off button? Because if you remove the battery you sometimes have to re-enter date and time.
------------

Yup after re-installed , i'm still facing the same issue. In fact i just did a re-installation in the afternoon ..... same deal. Did not remove the battery :p

If, by reboot, you mean turning the phone off & on again, and not hard-resetting (*#7370#), then I suspect the fault is in the tiny backup battery, soldered onto the phone PCB. In other words it's a warranty repair.

humm ... ok , either it’s coincidence that it happen with rite after the latest firmware updates or like you said relating to tiny backup battery ... worth considering ..
