prise nokia n82 in malaysia
Ola Everyone, I am new to the forum. So big hello's to everyone first. This forum is one of the best resource on the net for N82 Users. Cheers to the folks who made it possible for us .
Ok I purchased a N82 two weeks back. I was so much in love with my phone, but just yesterday. I dropped it, it fell on the bottom part.Damaging the keyboard casing(chipped off real bad)and incredibly ugly dents on the sides. Gosh ! I cant believe the N82 is such a delicate darling.
Anyways the shocking part is,after the incident, the phone speakers have got louder and clearer. Also I feel the phone has become more responsive overall. Dunno if thats my way of getting over the grief or something.lol. But the change is quiet evident, very shocking. I wouldn't recommend people to drop their phones, to see if my theory works
Btw Does anyone know, whether OEM black housing is available in the middle-east(Qatar). How much do you guys think it would cost - inclusive of getting it replaced at a NSC.
Cheers ------------ A similar type of thing happened to ny n95 8GB...
My slider is slightly loose, noticable when using the phone, I once dropped it in a club, and the next morning i noticed it had "fixed"! The slider was not loose anymore. Though over time it has become as loose as it was, but i'm not prepared to try dropping it again to see if it fiexes! ------------
Quote: ------------ I will be taking it to a Nokia Service Centre, for changing the housing. So I am guessing they would execute the job perfectly ? ------------ I think that would be best mate. ------------ since your taking it to a NSC, get them to check if you damaged anything by dropping it, sometimes that happens but you'll notice only after a while. Happened to my iPod, just thought it might be relevant for a phone too. ------------ Seems to be working fine vai. I have checked all the functions carefully. If i tell the NSC that I dropped the phone, it would just make the warranty void. So its better just to change the housing from them. And if they ask. I could just fib "It was just an ugly scratch from a car key "
The prob is, I cant find the OEM black housing here in Qatar(mid-east). I'm getting impatient as teh days pass-by.Can't stand looking at my beautiful N82 with all those scars
