Does anyone get annoyed at how long it takes to change channels on this tv??? Sometimes it can take up to 10 seconds (a hell of a long time when you are waiting to change channel) .

I have the same problem on my LE32R74BD. A recent Freeview software update improved the issue but it still has a noticeable delay.
If your TV has a Digital Text option, turn this off and it will help a little.

The "announcement" is automatic in such that you do not have to actively search for an update. However, in order to instigate the update you have to answer "OK" when the TV prompts you during the annoucement. ------------ Strange, I have never had my TV ask me to install any update it has ever found. I have had my Sammy for some 6 months or so now.
Anyway, will see what it says when i look for the update later tonight. ------------ Anyone have this problem at all still?? Driving me mad when i have to wait 10-15 seconds for the channel to change, sometimes getting audio first then waiting 5-10 secs for the video to kick in. It will tell you when Samsung are releasing new freeview software updates. ------------ Thanks Chiswick, but since i bought my telly a year and a half ago it hasnt ever asked me to update anything. When i try to do it manually via the setup it says there is no update available... what am i doing wrong? Or is this just something i have to put up with ? Does your set take ages to change channel? I have submitted a query to Samsung themselves now to see what they say.
