car radio mp3 player connector/
Hi folks,
I want to upgrade my old JVC 28" CRT for something a bit more modern.
I have a budget of around ?k ($2K) to get a screen and a blu-ray player.

My initial thoughts were the new Panasonic TX-32LZD85 which should leave me enough left over to get a Panny Blu-Ray player (DMP-BD30EG-K), or possibly a PS3 (is their much difference in quality?). My living room isn't very big, so I'm looking at 32" and 37" would be the absolute max (I suspect the wife will kill me anyway if I get a 37" but what the heck).
The review I've read for both Panasonic items are very good, but is there anything else I should be looking at? I know nothing about Plasma screens, but have heard mixed things about image burn being a problem some times which made me think I should get an LCD. Any advice on how I should best spend is very welcome. Unfortunately I live in rip off Britain where you get sod all for your money.
Oh, and I have a Sky HD box currently hooked up to my PC monitor (BenQ FP241W Z), which will move to the new screen when I buy.
