Handwriting recognition is awesome. It gives u option of Block Recognisor, Keyboard, letter recogniser, Transcriber (works best for ppl wit cursive writing)
Wifi-
It was extremely easy to connect to d wifi. All I had to do was to click connect n give password.. Dat is it!
WM6 -
Windows Mobile is extremely easy to use. I was skeptical of odr OS after using Symbians. But WM6 in no way disappoints u.
Package Contents -
HTC was caring enought to give a screen guard with the box alongwith extra stylus, 1GB memory card, headphones, application cd, manual, etc.
Applications -
There are lots of freewares as well as paid softwares available for WM6. So you can customize your cell to the max.
Overclocking -
It is possible to overclock your HTC Touch processor.
CONS -
Sluggish at times when u hav a few programs open. Camera requires lots of memory. So do remember to close all ur prgs b4 switching to camera/video
Bad music quality -
Having used N72/73ME, u can say one word for HTC Touch Audio quality - pathetic. Plus HTC Touch is more prone to damaged speakers.
Browser -
IE in WM6 lacks d functions n features of odr browsers. So it is recommended dat u download opera or odr browser for ur Touch.

Hi there , I have just switched over from Nokia 5500 sports to HTC Touch . My experience with Touch is great till now. The processor is simply awesome . Though it took me some time to get used to a stylus phone . I had checked the market and found this to be the cheapest windows 6 mobile phone which is well appreciated . The battery , well yeah it is not as gud as Nokia , I had to charge it daily and i found it great that the phone gets charged while plugged on to a pc .
I really had difficulty when i had to look around for softwares for my phone .
But i will say that this phone is value for money , Its not bulky as the other PDA phones . The touch screen reception is awesome .
My HTC Touch behaved very until now. I've upgraded to ROM 2.20. Maybe i'll by a SIRF III gps receiver for it soon. Overall impression 9/10.

Seems everyone here has put the "nail on the Head" so to speak) - I like it, and the tweaks I found Didn't remove the operator logo Phones good, bell Sux...Also Nero Mobile doesn't have the Smarts to tell WM6 that Music is playing (or Verse-visa, and Windows can't tell what Nero is doing...) and PC goes into standby, and music stops - Harumph... Sound Quality Sux... 2MP Camera is very "grainy" in dark rooms, or low light...But the "graininess" is more like vertical and Horiz. Lines, and picture looks lke it came from a Dime store Camera...Games like Galaga, and Pacman aree going to take some getting used to...Small Controls...And Let us not forget (This is Microsoft we're dealing with after all) Windows - I goto the Windows folder and I get an Hourglass when I'm browsing.. I wait 20s for the flder to load...
