Why dont you copy all your sms to your pc before you hard reset your HTC? that way you can put your sms back on it afterwards?
Got mine couple of weeks ago. Had wanted 1 because of the need to synchorinise with outlook calendar on my pc so that I don't have to carry a phone and another PDA around. Great phone and yes, defnitely value for money. Mine's the enhanced version.
Few problems that I encuontered includes:
1. After a few wi-fi connections, it gets increasingly difficult to find auto find any network. Have to do a soft reset.
2. The BIG problem is that after a few soft reset, I can't do sms. Showed me blank screen .
3. After the hard reset, the sms screens are ok ... but now I have to go install everything else and do syn with my pc again.
