nokia n82 for sale
Hi,
I've been having trouble with wlan since I bought the phone - some of it was my fault as I connected to an ad-hoc connection called 'free public wifi' it turned out to be something else and created an automatic connection from my phone - .
.
it was quite aggressive because everytime I turned it off using the connection manager it would start up again a few seconds later which caused my battery life to last no longer than 6 hours. I finally managed to get rid of it.
But recently I've noticed something else - sometimes when I go into the connection manager it says 'tmobile' is trying to connect and then quickly disappears - is this another virus?
Is there software for symbian phones that tells you if the phone is trying to make a connection? I have a program called 'little snitch' on my computer and this would be really useful on my phone aswell ------------ It's definitely a problem now - my phone's battery only lasts 18 hours and I've barely used it -
ever since that weird 'tmobile' is trying to connect' came up on my WLAN connection manager - please help!!
I can't be the only person this has/is happening to ------------ So presumably no-one has ever had this problem then? ------------ Doesn't look that way, maybe a format of the phone will cure the problem. ------------ Thanks for your help dude, I might just do that ------------ I've found a similar thing this morning on my new N82. I connected to the WLAN at my parents house and every time I disconnected, within 10 seconds it had connected again. I managed to stop this by disconnecting and deleting it as an access point before it could reconnect again, but this means if I do want to connect I have to re-enter the passkey again.
Anyone else seen it or have any ideas?
