free nokia n95 theme downloadN95/nokia/ Hi, I'm getting an N95 for Christmas, and my parents asked me if they should open it and charge it first?
Should they and how long would it take?
I want to play with it as soon as I can and not have to waste half the day waiting for it to be charged :P
Also, is it recomended to charge it for a longer time than usual if it is a new battery? .
. ------------ read HERE. ------------ ... or HERE. ------------ i wish my parents would of bought me my phone. id have them charge it up. better yet take it as a early christmas present :) ------------ I usually do an initial charge of 8-12 hours, then fully discharge the battery (to empty), then do another 8-12 hours after that. ------------ i know i read on here somewhere plugging the charger into the phone only tops up the charge, so what your meant to do is...
plug the charger in, unplug it straight away, then plug it in again, and it's meant to give it a full charge cycle, not sure if it works or not, but i do this every couple of nights when my bar gets down to two, and i leave it charge from 10:00 till 6:00am. and it's fine for days.
and i use the GPS, media player, WIFI, and i text an awful lot, and talk quite a bit! ------------ I used my battery straight out of the box, it had a bit of charge in it.
Then after about 10 minutes of playing I plugged the charger in and charged it while I was playing!
The battery life is fine, and that's not even on v20 yet. ------------ I find the battery charges up pretty **** fast.
Anyways, you can mess about with it (de-brand and upgrade ) while it's charging ------------ After the first initial charge (out of the box) mine charges in an hour. ------------ Mine takes around 45 minutes to fully charge, after a days use from me.
Initial charge took about 90 minutes for me.
