not sure where to post this, so here goes. I have downloaded the SDK and after trying to install I get a message saying failed to run preupgrade script for CHUD. Anyone have any idea? I am on a january 08 mac pro. sitemap Did you install Xcode 3.0 and upgrade to 3.1 in the SDK or did you just install 3.1? I did a little bit of searching for you and it seems that this is not an unheard-of problem when upgrading from 2.x to 3.0, but as the SDK came out yesterday there is no real documentation on the rest of this. I also have a January 08 macbook pro and installation went very smoothly for me. I had Xcode 3.0 installed previously and overwrote it with 3.1. I would recommed uninstalling the dev tools and reinstalling them. If you have the same problem again I recommend using your Leopard CD, installing the Xcode dev tools on the CD and then upgrading using the tools packaged with the SDK. Hope this helps, if not let me know and I'll see if I can help more! actually i have the same problem. But i am running MAC OS X 10.4.11. Do you guys have any idea if the SDK runs correctly in that version of Mac os or does it need a later version? thanks The requirements list Leopard. You must have MacOSX 10.5 or later. Sorry :-( I have tried it both ways, 1st was to install over (upgrade) my 3.0 install. 2nd was a wipe of 3.0 and install of 3.1. Neither worked. Would really like to get this up and running...any ideas? ok. I partitioned my drive and did a fresh install of leopard then installed Xcode aswell as the sdk. Curious thing is...it worked. Now to figure out how to get it installed on my main partition. I am all ears for ideas I have seen a lot of discussion recently with Xcode 3.1 not installing correctly. Even sometimes on leopard[??:??]
