prise nokia n82 in malaysia

SO, I know that one of those lame nokia things is no US 3G because of the frequency difference. However now that T-mobile has started rolling out there 3G network I was curious if N82 etc would work here. Seeing as its a German owned company it might work on standard European frequencies... (I hope) Anybody have a good answer for me (or a bad one that I should know anyway)?

Supposedly, the 3G that the N82 currently supports is the asian/european 3G. Anyone feel free to chime in if that is not correct. The current N82 will not work with either ATT nor TMO 3G. Bummer, huh!
