buy nokia n95 8gbN95/nokia/
Hi! I am having troube accessing the internet with some applications on my new N95-8GB with the new v15 firmware. (I immediately flashed it after I bought it so I do not know if that ist the cause for the problem.) Things that work: Built-in applications like the Nokia Browser or checking eMail. Java based apps like Opera Mini. Things that do not work: Symbian based apps like Google Earth (v2) and Opera Mobile (v8) The applications are successful in initiating (the correct) connection but then no data is transferred. Google Earth stays blank and Opera finally emits an error message. Help would be really appreciated because otherwise this phone is the coolest thing I have ever owned :)

As far as I know Google Earth was Java based before v2.x And Opera Mini is too but not Opera Mobile. The good news is my problem is solved! I dont know why but as I deleted all the access points and had my service provider resend them it worked. I guess this sounds alot like something was misconfigured but I didnt mess with it in the first place and everythings seems exactly the same?! Well 'Whatever' I guess as long as it works ;-) Thanks for trying to help Homer!
