nokia n82 mobile phone
So I have been wondering why this forum does not support asking for warez, cracked apps, etc. Because it seems to me that this site gives people instuctions on how to hack the symbian OS, which in turn can allow someone to install an unsigned app, most of which are cracked or warez to begin with. It would only make sense to me that this forum should not advocate, explain how to, or even talk about those subjects, if this forum does not support warez or anything else close to that subject matter. Explaining how to crack/hack the Symbian OS is no different than, let's say explaining how to install warez, tell people where to get them, posting the files here, etc.

Thoughts? I myself do not advocate warez as I believe MOST apps should be paid for as they are worth the money. Notice I said MOST apps.

------------ Installing unsigned apps is something we feel is part of getting the full use out of your mobile, while offering warez is not. I myself do not use illegal apps, however I do need to sign free apps quite often (numerous accelerometer apps initial required this).
I guess it all comes down to a matter of opinion. When we bypass the 'signing' security of symbian, we are not taking money out of a developers pocket. When we offer links to warez, the developer of the application is potentially losing money.

P.S. I still think the majority of people will use the hack to install cracked software (edited: most cracked software is unsigned). Just my opinion though.
