car radio cd mp3 players/ Not much talk of this monitor on forums so here goes!
Had mine a few days now calibrated with a GretegMacbeth EyeOne and wow, it's amazing not only for being S-IPS but the built quality and look/feel of the screen and the touchpanel buttons. .
.
In the days I've had it I've played Assassins Creed and TF2 and not had any real issues. I am coming from a Dell 2007WFP but briefly I did own a BenQ FP241W which had backlight bleed issues and a strange buzzing sound so I returned it. I also had a Dell 2408WFP but that was so bugged with mouse movement lag and red text fringing I just spat in disgust before returning that too.
The HZ currently has a few Vista issues which I will note below. It's worth noting that Hazro has been in contact with those of us affected and are very pro-active in solving them. IN fact we are due an update today for a fix either firmware or swapout. They even sent a tech out to one buyer on ocuk to replace the logic board and do some testing!
The Vista issue is in relation to DPMS mode where the screen will not enter power save mode when using Vista and a DVI cable. There is also a pixel mapping issue where any lower resolution will not map correctly and appears squashed regardless of PM settings in software or hardware.
2 pretty small issues that can be lived with until a fix is issued shortly.
So we have:
- No backlight bleeding
- No HDCP (coming later in the year) but not an issue for HDFury cable users (for Bluray/PS3) or if PC then AnyDVD-HD software.
- No strange noises
- Coolest looking 24" screen out, as nice as the Apple Cinema screens
- All aluminium shell so no heat vents needed
- Excellent colour accuracy and a calibrated dE of <1
- The Panel code LM240WU2 is in the same relationship as the NEC 2490 (?)

------------ You can connect the PS3 using a HDfury cable which will loop the output from ps3 to VGA and retain full 1080p in both games and bluray movies
Alternatively you get 1080i through component for bluray IIRC.
Also yep it's going to be a new revision as far as I remember!
