Hello,
I have a N95-1 RM-159 V20.0.015. I am experiencing some problems with backup using the latest Nokia PC suite.
This is what I have done so far?br />
1. Backup phone. Calendar, notes, contacts, and messages

2. Perform a hard reset
3. Restore phone. Calendar, notes, contacts, and mssages
4. Re-perform another backup
5. Use the phone for 1 day. The very next day, I cannot do a backup. I have not installed any software yet.
The error message I am getting from the backup report is?br />
Backup log:
Date and time: 2008/03/24 19:50
Backup saved to file:
C:\Documents and Settings\xxxxxxxx\Desktop\backup.nbu (1.3 MB)
The phone model-specific backup includes:
- Contacts
- Messages
The following content can be copied to other phone models:
- 28 contacts
- 5 notes
- Text messages
- Multimedia messages
The following items could not be backed up:
- Calendar and notes
Any ideas? I have done this test many times and each time is the same result. Thank you in advance.

Why did you try to backup two days in a row, may i ask?

I found this problem by fluke. Back then I had installed bunch of software for testing purpose, I did a hard reset because I wanted to start from fresh. Then I received lots of sms and contacts, and I wanted to make sure I have a latest copy. I don? backup my phone everyday. Haha.

If you'd like to browse through exactly what you have backed up you should put NOKI on your PC.
As for the notes and calender errors, i'll see what i can find out.

1.3Mb doesnt seem like much for a full backup to me.
Also, just curious as to what firmware you have on the phone.

This is weird. So I did a hard reset again, and restore the "suppose failed backup"... and I have all my stuff.
Go figure...

i;m getting this problem, i had it before when i was trying to back up messages, the problem before was it couldn't back up a picture message.
anyways, now i'm trying to back up my.... calendar, user files from the gallery, and contacts. yet i'm getting struck on phone model specific backup.
