hi, i got a n95 the other day and updated it using the nokia updater and now when the phone rings i have a little robot voice calling out the name tag of the caller as well as the assigned ringtone. i cant work out how to get rid of this and would really appriciate it as it is terrible... sorry if its a repost but i searched quite a bit and gave up. thanks. ------------------ Menu>Tools>settings>general>personalisation>tones> say caller's name ON/OFF ------------------ settings>general>personalisation>tones> "say callers name" ------------------ **** snap **** ------------------ ------------------ Incidentally I find Mr Hawkins useful. I can activate my bluetooth if i need to speak to the caller when I'm driving by one finger press and without looking. ------------------ yeah but its a bit nasty when your phone goes off playing a cool ring tone then he interrupts like your gran at a disco!!! cheers guys he is gone now and aint going to be back hopefully. ------------------ it's useful for me... when my phone is not beside me it lets me know who's calling and decide if i should get my lazy butt to take the call.
