To try and help make this as easy an experience as possible for everybody, we ask that you only post topics that are of a help, modding support or discussion nature and that off-topic posts are kept to a minimum.
You can help make the threads easier to search and read through by making your thread and post titles more specific, according to the type of topic. For example, if you wanted to post a great tutorial that you wrote about modding the V3 then you would title your thread something like: "Modding Support: V3 Hacking Tutorial". Or if you were having problems applying your mp3? as your ringtones: "Help: Why Can't Set Ringtones". And, if you wanted to report your successful seem edit you might use: "Discussion: V3 Seem Edit Worked". The first part of the title will immediately let other readers know exactly what type of topic you posted and can help get you a much quicker response.
Acceptable "Help" topics include:
- general and/or specific technical problems that a member is having with the operation or functionality of their phone
- technical problems a member is encountering while or after an attempt to mod/flash/hack their phone
- requests for finding particular applications or files for modding their phone or pre-modding/flashing questions
- technical questions pertaining to this specific phone as it relates to specific carriers if the carrier is felt to be the source of the issue
Acceptable "Modding Support" topics include:
- responding to any help requests posted by other members in order to attempt to help that member resolve their technical problem or issue
- posting files containing modding apps, seems, flashes, etc. that pertain to this particular phone (no warez)
- posting technical information regarding this particular phone and various phone carriers that carry it
- posting useful and concise technical information that would help facilitate others being able to modify their phone's functionality more easily
Acceptable "Discussion" topics include:
- sharing your modding experience of this particular phone
- making general technical comments about the phone
- reporting technical problems with the phone or modding applications
- any other general discussion related topics that pertain specifically to this phone
All posts must be free of member email addresses and if wanting to post a link to an external website, we ask that you contact the forum Moderator first for apporval.
Moderators will help to ensure that the forum is free from postwhoring (short-worded posts utilized solely to increase a member's post count), warez links, unauthorized advertising, flaming others, offensive posts, posts regarding unrelated phone models and any off-topic discussion/s. Any posts and/or threads deemed to be unacceptable may be removed/deleted at the Moderator's discretion without prior notice. Moderators also reserve the right to ban any members that continue to break the rules of the forum after having been warned and/or having their posts or threads deleted.
