I am new to Sony Ericsson phones so this may sound silly but I can not obtain access to the Sony Update Service software from the sony web support. The page has some frames and a picture at the top but nothing where the download link should be. Am I missing something here? Wouldn't it have been easier for Sony to include the interface app on the CD that ships with the phone - it can't be that much of a program to setup a connection and download firmware to the PC and from there upload to the phone from the desk-stand.||| http://hongblog.net
I received an email response from Sony Ericsson stating that the update service software (from the P1i support page) is now available.
"Thank you for contacting Sony Ericsson Online Support.
The page you referenced does now have the update service for download.
