samsung r225 melody composer
Hi,
i live in Milan.
I have a problem with my new Samsung.
When i put it in stand-by mode some times it swiitch-on and then switch-off. .
.
Only the led change the status, but the lamp don't work.
The tv sometime in this state are hot.
Samsung tell me it's normal , but i think no! They told me that is the dvb-t decoder is upgrading it...
I put now a switch on the cable.
Do you have suggestions, it's normal?
Thank you... sorry for my bad english... ------------ The remote can be quite sensitive... does it happen when you use the button on the set too or just with the remote? ------------ It's the same.
There are two kind of problem:
1) when I put the tv set in standby mode, I always find the switch-on, then after 2-3 minutes it's come normal
2) some other times, I found shitch-on for a long time (always with the lamp off).
Thanks ------------ It's the same.

Is your tv connected to a another device (VCR, DVD, Cable, Satellite) via Scart? ------------ Yes,
1st scart: Sony dvd player
2nd scart: Lg dvd - hd recorder ------------ Yes,
1st scart: Sony dvd player
2nd scart: Lg dvd - hd recorder
Do you normally leave the SONY DVD player and LG DVD Recorder permanently switched on? If so, the "fast-switching" feature of the SCART connector may be switching on your TV... ------------ No... they are in standby mode.
I have no idea about this problem, but there are a lot of people in italy's forum, that have it.... and there are no answer...
HELP ME!!! ------------ ok lets start with some basics and others and other users can come in on this one. I have an LE32 and in standby red light is always on. You can only power off at mains.
Could this be a problem with mains supply coming on and off and light going on and off (thus why no picture being displayed?)
"dvb-t decoder is upgrading it" as you describe would only take place when viewing a digital channel I would think. Is there digital TV in Italy ? ------------ Yes, in Italy there is the digital TV :-) I have more than 40 channel.
The tv is excellent for quality with the digital decoder.
The main power only put the tv set in standby mode like the remote control, when the tv is on i have no problem, everything is ok.
Only when i power off there is the problem. ------------ No Answer?
Help Me.......
