Last Name, First Name problem on N73

I noticed that someone having the same problem with a N82 has already posted this question in another forum, but since my phone is a N73, I thought I should ask this question here.
I have N73 with firmware V 4.0736.3.2.1 and I changed the setting in Contacts to show the "First name" first, i.e.

Contacts > Options > Settings > Name Display > Select > Change > "First nm. Last nm."
However contacts still show "Last name" first name when I receive a call or an SMS.
This is very annoying. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to fix this?
Thanks. I get the same problem.
Texts that you send show First.Last but then replies come in as Last.First and any subsequent replies to these replies also show as Last.First in my sent box.
Odd.
