samsung blast Following on from the post (http://www.ilovesamsung.co.uk/showthread.php?t=254) regarding the LE40R87BDX I've recently purchased (extremely pleased!), I'm now looking for a home cinema system to compliment it, however I'd like some more opinions, as I haven't been able to see it in a shop yet. .
.
I'm looking at the HT-TX35R, and really just wanted to know the good / bad points of it. More importantly, is the sound good, and can the speakers be wall mounted?
What kind of connections / cables would I need to purchase to get the best connection between the TV and Home Cinema?
Also, has anyone had any experience with the wireless option for the above (SWA-3000)? Do you receive any loss of sound, increase in delay etc?
One last thing - If I was after the same kind of thing as the HT-TX35R, but wanted a recordable HDD built into the DVD player, which model should I be looking at?
Many thanks in advance! ------------ Hi OJM,
I don't really have a cinema thingy but I'm sure others will post some replies to message and assist accordingly, but I certainly recommend the following website to obtain all your cabling and connectors (my cables [e.g. HDMI etc] are Profigold, but IXOS etc are all very good). Personally speaking I find their service spot on and prices better than most (ignoring eBay unless you want counterfeit Hong Kong rubbish):
Audio Visual Online (http://www.audiovisualonline.co.uk/) ------------ Chiswick, thanks for the info! I'll bear that site in mind - that was going to be my next question about HDMI cables! Haha!
Cheers! ------------ I took the plunge and bought the surround sound system mentioned above. Next job is to get it cabled up at the weekend, but confused over which HDMI cables to buy...
If my TV is 1080i and the surround sound upscales to 1080i (as far as I know), do I really need to pay extra for the 1080p v1.3 cables? Will I gain anything from them, compared to other HDMI cables?
Cheers! ------------ HDMI cables are generally ok - but if you can get oxygen free, copper wire and tripple shielded they will be better :)
