I've not heard of this before... does it look like a signal loss? have you tried a different aerial?
------------

no not signal loss ive tried a different aerial still the same. I have no problems watching via a freeview box it only happens on samsungs own dtv.
it is a known problem but seems no known answer. try looking at these.

yes , i have the same too, i run a digifusion box too off the same aerial and get breakup of pic but on the samsung digi tv i get a green flash at the same time. i have measured using a digi meter , low s/n ratio under 30db signal strength is ok but does dip quite often. you may find better grade of aerial cable may improve it. I too am think of buying satillite grade cable soon for the aerial
------------

i dont think its a cable issue as ive recorded freeview from a set top box and then waited for the green flash to show on the tv via the tvs own freeview when the green flash showed on the tv i then checked the recording of the set top box and this had no picture issues what so ever no break up at all. it does seem to be some sort of interfearance though nothing like the "blockiness" you normally get with loss of signal on digital
------------

Yes I ve seen it too but didnt consider it an issue. I'm no electonics engineer but looks like a picture mute for interference or the buffer running out? Straws clutching. Seems more obvious with high pressure or high wind when aerial knocked about.

Vehicles with poor RF suppression seem to cause a wee bit of interfreance too sometimes.
