Hi,
Can anyone explain to me the settings on my LE32R51BD for Trusurround XT.
There are three options
.
(i) Off
(2) 3D Mono
(3) Stereo.
Do these settings apply only when using external amps/speakers or do they affect the sound through the TV also.
If so, what does off do?
What is 3d Mono.
I might be being a bit dim but would appreciate it if someone can explain please.
Also, I have bought some quality compnent leads to connect my Panasonic DVD player to the TV. The DVD has a 'Progressive scan' setting for use with LCD Tvss.
However, to be honest the picture,(although very good) does not appear any beter than with cheap scart and without progressive scan on the DVD.
Am I missing something here?

------------ The sound settings basically send the audio through some digital processing 'effects' they try to emulate 3d sound etc... most of the time its gimmicky so just have a play with them and see which one u prefer - it doesnt need an external amp.
Re prog scan - make sure first of all your dvd player is set to output in prog scan... do this via the options...
It will boil down to the quality of the dvd player.. but generally prog scan is better then scart ;)
