it's worth the upgrade. phone performs much better, you get FL-3 which let's you watch any flash-based video in the web browser (i've tried sites like youkou.com/56.com/youtube etc), just general things, and a mysterious yet enticing thing about being able to enable hardware in future software updates. that looks cool.

Yeah its worth it, although it is a pain in the bum to get working. I don't have windows XP on any of my PC's anymore, the Nokia Software Suite doesn't really run well on Vista, plus it automatically downloads the latest nokia cable connect drivers which disables Nemesis Service Suite from running correctly!!

I had to uninstall the new cable drivers and install old ones to get Nemesis service suite to work, which takes a little while because Vista takes a while to realise it needs to reconfigure your device with the new drivers. Then once I'd finally managed to change the product code to the euro 1 code which enables the v20 firmware upgrade in Nokia Software Updater I faced further problems.....

Nokia Software Updater is likely to crash half way through the update (something about a host process failure), you have to keep the cables connected, then launch task manager, find nokia updater client, end the program, re-run it, then it'll ask you to remove the battery and power cable (if plugged in), then restart the phone! (What it doesn't tell you is to make sure you then re-select PC Suite USB mode once the phone has rebooted!) Then you can click OK and the update should finally carry on without problems. Took me hours on other forums and this one to get it working, best stick with XP if you can.
