nokia n95 8gb oglasi
there're several ways to get rid of your ugly network name on the phone idle screen. actually i only found 2 guides. im sure there's more but probably they're more or less the same. Operator Logo for S60 3rd ed Changing OP Logo's for S60 3rd Edition - Finally!: Darla Mack - Nokia S60 News and Reviews its not for the fainted hearted though. abit tedious i have to say. here i have an easier method to get that sexy blank operator logo on your phone. 1. you'd need to download this java app called NokiaLogo, and install it on your phone http://hairil.abubakar.googlepages.com/NokiaLogo.jar 2. next, download this bitmap image and place it either on your phone memory, or memory card. any folder would do http://hairil.abubakar.googlepages.com/blank.bmp 3. after you've installed NokiaLogo, go to the Applications folder and launch it. the icon looks broken, but the app functions properly 4. this is what you'll see when the app is started 5. now press options to select the blank logo 6. its safe to press yes for all these prompts that you'll encounter 7. browse to the location you put the downloaded blank logo. for mine, i put it in E:\tools 8. once selected, you'll end up again at the main screen 9. now fill in the details; your mobile phone number, mcc and mnc. you could refer to the list of codes below Mobile network code - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia 10. then press Options> Send the app will hang for a while. i believe the lag is due to the app sending out the messages. im not sure if it really sends out 5 messages too. but you'll receive a sms shortly. could take a while if the network is congested. 11. in your inbox, you'll see a message called Operator logo 12. open it and you'll see a white box. you'd see nothing i suppose, if your background is white 13. press the selection key to save the operator logo 14. tadaa! 15. should you want your ugly network operator logo back, you can go to Tools> Settings> General> Personalisation> Standby mode and set the Operator logo to "Off" at step number 5, its important to select the operator logo. if not, you'd end up with an uglier logo this also means that you can change to any logo you desire. just make sure its a bitmap (.bmp) file, and it measures 128x32 pixels. have fun!

.

I was just about to upload something like this but i won't bother now.

Aye, now that's a great little guide there Hairil, you should whack a link to this in your signature - I never even noticed this getting posted until now

The boy done well.

Nice. Finally a simple way to do it.

i bet if Calamity was the one posting, everyone would surely notice :P yea i think i'd put it on my sig. does the app work for others?

App works fine for me. Only issue I had, and this is no problem really, was the fact that O2 UK have 3 codes, and as per usual it was the third and final one that worked for me. Great app.
