Sorry about the downtime - to cut a long story short, the motherboard in our server needed replacing!

If you find any bugs please let me know as we might need to reload relevant files, but I think it should be ok.
.

Azz.

There's a slight anomaly with your last message Azz: no one is able to read it because they - or at least me, anyway - is unable to access www.ilovesamsung.co.uk.

So how did I manage to find it? I had an old bookmark in Favorites which pointed to "New Posts" and not the ilovesamsung 'root' homepage.

Sor' i' ou', will yer ;)

What do you get when you go to the homepage?

Might be that your browsers cookie and cache need emptying.

Do you get a pop-up? About an application? (that was when php was down)

If so then get opera (www.opera.com) and go to the page again (whilst using Opera)

then when that pop up box opens click on the CHANGE tab

then choose open with Opera > ok

then go to the page and if its all 'text' just click on the refresh button

Then just clear cookies and cache for other browsers.

It's happening because the MIME type has been cached and needs to be cleared.

Let me know if it works.

Sorted. I cleared the single cookie file and now I can access the homepage.
Thanks!

Good stuff!

Can you let me know how you did it so I can refer to it for anyone else who has the same problem?
(General clearing of cookies and cache doesn't normally do it)
(Btw what page were you getting? The temporary page or the pop-up box?)

Thanks Chiswick!

I was getting the temporary page which consisted of a blank white page with a single paragraph informing me of the server downtime and requesting me to try again in an hour (or words to that effect).

I removed the single cookie file from "C:\Documents and Settings\{username}\Cookies\{username}@ilovesamsun g.co[1]"

On that page you just need to press the refresh button on your browser :)

I did try that to no avail. Anyhow, it's working fine now and I didn't have to remove any cookies.
