samsung 2 sim

While i love my Samsung (LE32R41BDX), it's developed a couple of annoying problems:

1. The Standby LED on the front keeps intermittently flashing at me for no apparent reason when it?? switched on!!
.

2. It very randomly switches itself into standby mode when pressing say the volume button (or any other button for that matter).

Has anyone else heard of any problems like this?

As the TV is not even 2 months old i'll be ringing the store i bought it from to try and get it replaced.
------------

I've not had the problems you've described on my LE32R41BDX, that said, I rarely use the supplied remote control (Sky remote does is all).

The only fault I've witnessed is occasionally when turning the TV on there is a horrid horizontal green pixel-wide line which won't vanish until the On Screen Display goes off.
------------

I had the same issue with my first set. It was a power issue and it had to be replaced. It would work for 30min or sometimes 5mins - then go to standby, the power LED flashing. In the end it would not turn on at all and just flash.

I got a replacement
------------

got my LE40R74BDX out the box yesterday (very excited) but it had the same standby problem (now very sad), as soon as you press any button on any remote (even non samsung) it goes into standby mode (red light flashing) and then restarts. Needless to say I'm sending back for a replacement, D.O.A.

Looks like there is a pattern forming here, samsung get it sorted!!!
------------

I've also had the same problem with the power indicator light flashing, although it didn't have a problem with it switching itself off.

Anyway, Samsung have swapped mine for a new replacement unit.

Hi
I would appear to have a similar problem. My LE32R41BD just went off and the red light at the front started to flash and it would not turn on again. It's just out of warranty so I got someone to have a look at it and he said it was a PCP (what ever that is) is this repairable? and if so how do I get hold of one of one of these PCP's? Help i'm missing the world cup!!!
------------

Sorry it's not a PCP i'm after it's a PCB Printed circuit board :o

Glad to hear it! You wouldn't want to find PCP (Angel Dust) in your TV! ;)

Hi all, I too have taken delivery of a LE40R74BDX and have this flickering Power indicator, have had an engineer come out and he may have to take it away to get repaired. EEK!!!

For those who had this problem, does anyone know what the cause of it is?

Just to clarify: are you getting this problem, i.e. intermittent flashing power indicator light, during normal TV viewing? I take it that the TV doesn't switch itself off and back on again? Or does it flash when the TV is in Stand-By mode?
