windows xp service pack 2/ i have an acer pc ..with windows vista on it.. i need to know if what i did was big problem and i think it is ... i dont know much about computers and i shouldnt have done this but what is done is done.. i wanted to get windows xp for my pc ..so the day before i was getting windows xp put on .. i decided to save some files on a disk i wasnt sure if it was a the proper disk but i thought using a dvd r disk would be ok ... so what i did was i clicked on the start menu and then i just dragged the files from the start menu to the dvd r disk ...i did this with my acer files (acer is the brand of the pc) now that i did that the files are probably really damaged because when i try to open them it _DMC.exe- Fatal Error , X CLR error:80004005 The program will now terminate..that message comes up to alot of the files i just dragged from the start menu to the dvd disk.,, man i feel like an idiot . i hope this can be fixed plz try to help an unexperienced pc user ... :( i also tryed to take them from the dvd disk and dragg them back into the start menu and that did nothin .. wat should i do ??
