Also just announced at MWC was the 6210 Navigator, bringing the older 6110 Navigator up to date with 3.2 megapixel camera and latest styling. If it comes with Route66 like 6110, it gone be a good purchase, like 6110.
------------

Yeah, I preferred Route 66 when I tested the 6110. However I think Nokia's strategy at the moment is to use their own online services on their phones.

I love the new Nokia look and feel...apart from screen resolution they're really doing some great products now. This little navigator looks great.

I'd be happy if Nokia would just fix the latest UK 6110 Due to an internal cock-up the latest ones left the factory with updated 2007 Route 66 maps but with the 2006 licence. Hence they don't work, Nokia say "take it to your local service centre, they will fix it, tell them to read the service bulletin about this issue", the local service centre say, "yes we have read the service bulletin, but Nokia have not released the 2007 licence to service centres, until they do we can't fix it" one month on, my 6110 still can't use it Route 66 navigation. Totally crap service from Nokia on this occasion.

Ive found route66 to be nothing but nastyness. First off, its not good enough, routes are way out, and some are just unbeleivable. Then theres the 'turn slightly left/right' instructions which can make you do a wrong turn. And any problems? Nokia - its route66's problem Route66 - its nokias problem Personally, Im glad they have moved from route66. Im buying the phone purely for the hardware and OS, not any satnav bundled with it. If its good enough, I'll use it. But Im not counting on it. And unless nokia give a year or more free with nokia maps, its too pricey compared to other satnavs. I was going to go for the 6220 classic as it has GPS, but theres the following issues: Is it just the new navigator which will contain the compass which uses the accelerometer? Presumably, the 6220 classic wont have a custom car mount. Which means, no charging when you put it into a cradle, instead having to plug in using a lead. I shall probably get the 6210, the car cradle and compass being the winning points for me, replacing my much loved 6110 (running garmin, among other satnav programs). I would like to know if the 6120's camera (3.2mp) will have a macro function? Also, its claimed on one website that - Local maps are pre-loaded on the 1GB memory card of the Nokia 6210 Navigator and map updates are included in the sales price. For an additional fee, users can purchase multimedia city guides from premium content providers via Nokia Maps application I dont know if that means theres some navigation given with it free or not.

Compared to the popular and much liked E65. (similar size and presumable cheaper as its not a E series.) This has better camera flash, GPS, Accelerometer. Though it does seem to lack wi-fi ?
