N95/nokia/new display on the n95 front screen

genuine nokia n95 from china
basically i got a new n95 after my first one was subsequentlly stolen and when i pressed down on the front end screen it would go to wifi and left would go to calender etc etc now there is is menu type thing there which i really dont like and ive looked through many of the menus and i cant find a way to remove this stupid thing, can anyone help?

How to Change Operator Logo ??
no not the operator log on my n95 i have 6 icons along the top with
no calender entries today
and wlan access found on the first screen with the wallpaper
i want them banished i say!
Tools > Settings > General > Personalisation > Standby Mode > Active Standby On/Off.......

it was mentioned in part of the thread actually. the title was misleading i guess
