I'm trying to update my firmware and now whenever I tried to open the Nokia Software Updater Icon, it keeps giving me the warning box Missing Software Components Critical Software Components are Missing. Please reinstall Which I did to no prevail. Can anyone suggest what else I can do? I have already tried uninstall the whole PC Suite and installed it again. But it doesn't work.

call nokia to help you out with the drivers.
------------

Try reinstalling the updater, you can download from here

I had the same problem before but downloading the latest version of the updater solved it.
------------

I tried that already. It's still the same message. I guess the only way is to wait for another new version to come out
------------

Uninstall NSU & PC-Suite, reboot PC, install latest PC-Suite from here & latest NSU... And keep your fingers crossed! ;)

It's a problem with Windows Vista and the Software Updater. So far AFAIK there is no solution. Just need to find a PC with XP.

Im having the same problem with Software updater on vista. I tried reloading all of the Nokia stuff four or five times. I have an old PC w/ win98 on it. Ill dust it iff and give it a try

Can you not run the program in Vista in XP-emulation mode?
