Well depends on what kinda video your watching.. For the picture part, do tehy images show up slow too if you move them to phone memory and view then form there? If they show fast enough there it might be a slow/corrupt microSD card you have. Do you know that brand the card is?

its a sandisk card. the videos i am watching are the ones that i record myself, then wen i go to show my mates, it just takes forever to play!! doesn't make any difference when i move the file, infact it takes about 30 seconds to actually move it!!!

hiya, firstly, welcome to the forums, and secondly, when i first got my n95, i was a little disapointed, i thought it was running slow, however, the more i used it, the better it got, it was running smoother, loading things faster etc... if you havn't already, i'de install the latest firmware. this can be done by installing nokia pc suite, and linking your phone upto your computer via USB. you will need to back up anything which isn't stored on your memory card, including your contacts (if their stored on your phone) but this is easily done using PC suite. when you install it, just play about with it a bit, customise your apperence etc to what suits you, open your pictures more frequently, and within a day, i'de guess you will notice it is a lot faster. Thats the best help i can offer coming from experience of someone who was a little disapointed by the n95 as soon as i got it. but now, i'm blown away by it :D Good luck with your problem, and hope this helped!
