I am using a SE960i. Whenever I open an app, write a message etc, if I go to the task manager later when I find the phone lagging theyre always still open. Is there a proper way to be closing these apps when i've sent the message or whatever other than hitting back until I get to the main screen?

thanks i think thats just the way UIQ works i had the same question when i got mine, you can force close them in task manager if you wish but just leave the the common ones open it wont cause you any problems and close the ones you use every now and then also if left open they will open much faster.
to get back to the main screen from messaging or any other app just press and hold the back button on the keypad
