windows xp driver updates/
Hello there, I have a question, but first let me explain the setup in my scenario. I am networking two buildings (one is a retail store, the other is an office) with both wired and wireless hardware. In the back of the store, I have a DSL connection (Bellsouth) connected to a Linksys Router (BEFSR41). There is a computer next to the router (runs a database program) and a computer in the front of the store (runs the register). Both of these computers are connected to the router via Cat5e wire. These are both working fine. With me so far?! Good. Also connected to the router is a Trendnet TEW-430APB access point. Here's where it gets tricky (at least for me). In the office, which is across the street about 100 feet, is another TEW-430APB connected to a Trendnet TE100-S5 switch. Connected via Cat5 to the switch is another computer. I am sending the wireless connection via the Access point in the store (transmitting) to the Access Point in the office (receiving) using two Trendnet TEW-AO19D directional antennas and attempting to share the connection in the office using the switch. Currently, I have the transmitting AP set to "AP mode" and the receiving AP is set to "AP client mode." In the office I can gain access (wirelessly...is that even a word?) to the router, and both AP's, but not the internet. So here where my questions come in.
.

.

One, what should the IP addresses of each of the devices be? Or does it matter? Currently, the router is set to the default, 192.168.1.1, the transmitting AP is set to 192.168.1.20 and the receiving AP is set to 192.168.1.21. I want to the use the DHCP function of the router, so I have that function in each of the AP's turned off.

Two, should the receiving AP be set to AP Client Mode or Repeater mode? I realize Trendnet could tell me this (their manual does not specify the difference), but I just thought about this tonight and haven't had a chance to try it. I think it's odd that I can connect to the network, but not the internet. I know the transmitting AP is sending it, because I can pick it up on my laptop when bypassing the receiving AP/switch.

I hope all of this makes sense and someone out there can help. Thanks for your time.
