motorola keypress ringtones/I need help....i have a razr v3 and i want to put mp3 music in it....i have the usb cable and i have the motorola phone tools...but it doesnt work..whenever i try it it says that my phone is not connected..i dont know wat to do anymore..it only worked once..when i tried it again it gave me that problem..please help . ------------ Has your phone been unlocked? If you have Verizon the phone is locked because they want you to use "Buy it now". If this is the case, you will need to downgrade your software to a previous unlocked software version by Verizon. If your phone is already unlocked, then you should try to do an update MPT and make sure that you have the right driver. Hope this helps! ------------ you say it worked once....was this with a mp3, if so just check your phone and make sure that all the titles in your phone media are simple names without any 'special' characters like !"?.. if so change the title on the phone and try mPT again. also make sure your pc has mp3 codec installed ------------ Make sure the mp3 is not at too high of a bit rate.... also try to do all the updates before you connect again....if that doesn't work use a different usb port......
