Only a cosmetic difference between the two, and a different connector layout on the back. As you said, the Dixons group offer the "51", while others mostly offer the "41" model.

I'm sure after 2 weeks of trekking round all the shops and the net, that the 41 does not have an hdmi connector and the 51 does.

I have a 41 and it does have an HDMI connector. But sorry, I can't offer any other reason about their differences.

The difference is only cosmetic ;-)

The Dixons group probably used their buying power to get Samsung to make an exclusive model for them... they generally do this so they can sell the product without /direct/ competition.

Get the r41 it will be much cheaper.
