.
Removing 'Stuck' Applications - No reformatting or reinstalling! :D
I know your pain....FreeFlight was the app that screwed me over with the exact same problem. I and another guy from here worked out a relly long winded way to fix it. But then 'G' came along with his big brain and sorted the problem with bugger all mucking around.
Make sure you thank Mr G for this one, it saves so much mucking around and annoyance.
PS. FreeFlight, i must admit, was a fun way of killing time...When it worked.
didn't it come from Giz?
Apparently not LOL
Ha, i apologise Giz. My bad, sorry buddy.
Funny thing is i'm about to go through and use it myself right.
Some broken app mysteriously showed up in my APPS folder and i dont remember installing it. 'SQLite' or something.
Ever heard of it?
Sorry once again Giz for shifting credit.
Haha no problem mate :P
And the SQLite application suggests the leftovers from an incorrectly installed/uninstalled application by the sound of it - It's nothing important, just an imbedded data query library; Deleting it should be fine
i WILL be able to get rid of it with your system shouldn't i?
I believe so, yes
The 'Advanced' instructions will most likely benefit you most in this situation
Feel free to post on the thread if you have any problems, and I'll get back to you ASAP :)
The only reason i could think of that this 'broken' app is there...I TRIED to reinstall Sports Tracker after i installed Activity Monitor and the Reinstall didnt work.
