windows xp blind skins/ hi.. recently i went to watch a video on youtube and it said i needed shockwave player to watch it, so.. i installed it and ever since my soundcard has been messing up on games on teamspeak, on everything and now this morning i checked and it isn't even installed. . so i went to install it but windows couldn't find a driver for my soundcard and as i got my entire system built for me online i dont have a disk to install it with.. not sure exactly what to do or what details u will need from my system. the Soundcard Supreme FXII it used SoundMAX to operate but that is still installed and when i run it, it says "no SoundMAX audio present..you cannot use SoundMAX conrol panel." OS win xp pro. motherboard "Asus P5E X38 Chipset 755 1600FSB DDR2 PCI-E Crossfire" spent now 5 hours trying to fix it and done several system restores back to before i installed shockwave but it just doesn't work at all now. ------------ are they normal drivers or hd drivers ------------ HD i have my PC hooked upto my tv downstair and the surround sound. ------------ try reinstalling the sound driver setup from the m/b setup disk ------------ ah yeh the motherboard disk that fixed it all up now we got my home cinema set up agian thanks, much appreciated. ------------ glad you have it sorted
