samsung ln40a550
Hi All,
Your help would be appreciated. I am buying a new TV and have been looking at the LE46M51BX. From what I have read the ?1?indicates the revision. I am just a bit concerned if I buy this is it effectively and old revision, is this the case, when was it released? Looking on the Samsung web site the R74 series advertises features like 12.8Bil colors as opposed to 6.4 on the 46M51 also it only has a single HDMI connector and no freeview. If this an old revision does anyone know if a new model is due out say 64M61 maybe?

I am looking for 42?or bigger so the R74 is out as it only goes to 40? next in line are the Panasonic plasmas?

------------ I'm not sure about the revision, but as far as I know its the largest LCD you can get at present :)
It does not have freeview, but I guess Samsung figured anyone getting this set must have a decent set-up (such as sky).

------------ It doesnt look so big in the shops... but when you get it home it is just huge! :D
What sources will you feed it? As its so big it will need good quality inputs. What TV have you got at the mo?
